alsesAI is a bridge between the public and the life-science research community. These rules apply to every post, comment, message, upload, AI interaction, patent showcase, and institution page on the platform. They exist to keep the community safe, honest, and worth trusting.
Debate ideas, never attack people. Harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, doxxing, or targeted abuse — in any language — are prohibited. Healthy disagreement about science is welcome; contempt for people is not.
Content that promotes, sells, buys, or facilitates illegal drugs, firearms, explosives, or any other illegal goods or services is strictly prohibited. This prohibition applies to all languages, coded language, euphemisms, and private messages alike. Violations lead to immediate content removal and account termination, and may be reported to law enforcement.
Any sexualization of minors, child exploitation material, grooming, trafficking (including trafficking of women and children), or content that endangers any person is prohibited absolutely. We report such content to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
Do not fabricate, falsify, or plagiarize research data, results, or credentials. Do not present speculation as verified fact. Content that impersonates researchers, institutions, or falsifies academic identity will be removed and the account suspended. Verified researcher and institution badges must be earned through our verification process.
Platform content — including AI-generated answers and "plain words" explanations — is for general science education only and is never medical, diagnostic, or treatment advice. Do not post content instructing others to start, stop, or replace medical treatment. If you have a health concern, consult a licensed physician.
No bulk unsolicited promotion, phishing, Ponzi or investment schemes, fake giveaways, vote or like manipulation, bot networks, or artificially boosting content or Gene points. Advertising must go through official channels. Referral abuse (self-invites, farms) voids rewards.
Do not publish other people's personal information (addresses, phone numbers, IDs, private messages) without consent. Confidential lab data, unpublished results under NDA, or trade secrets that you do not own must not be posted.
Only post content you own or are licensed to share. The IP Vault showcases and blockchain timestamps are not patent applications and confer no legal IP rights — file with the USPTO or your national office for real protection. We respond to valid DMCA / copyright takedown notices (see the User Agreement, Section 10).
The AI assistant may be used for any lawful topic. Do not use it to generate disinformation, deepfakes, malware, or content that violates these rules; do not attempt to bypass safety systems; do not misrepresent AI output as human-authored research. AI output may contain errors — verify before relying on it.
Institution accounts must use truthful names, websites, and research descriptions. Institution admins are responsible for content posted under the institution identity and for managing members' roles. Misleading institutional identity (e.g., impersonating a university or company) leads to removal.
We use a combination of automated screening (including multilingual prohibited-content detection) and human review. Depending on severity, enforcement includes: content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, and reports to authorities. Gene points obtained in violation of these rules may be revoked. Memberships terminated for rule violations are not eligible for refunds except as required by law.
If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, contact us at the address below with your username and the relevant content. We review all good-faith appeals.
